Past Tense, Present Perfect, and Past Perfect

PAST TENSE 
1. + Ina went to market yesterday 
      - Ina didn't go to market yesterday
     ? Did Ina go to market yesterday?


2.  + Ferdy was handsome
      - Ferdy wasn't handsome
     ? Was Ferdy handsome?


3.  + Adimas bought this card two days ago
      - Adimas didn't buy this card two days ago
     ? Did Adimas buy this card two days ago?


4.  + Adimas came to Syira's house last week
      - Adimas didn't come to Syira's house last week
     ? Did Adimas come to Syira's house last week?


5.  + He met with my sister this morning
      - He didn't meet with my sister this morning
     ? Did he meet with my sister this morning?




PRESENT PERFECT


1.  + She has just eaten meatball
      - She hasn't just eaten meatball
     ? Has she just eaten meatball?


2.  + They have just watched the film
      - They haven't just watched the film
     ? Have they just watched the film?

3.  + He has just sworn to his self
      - He hasn't just sworn to his self
     ? Has he just sworn to his self?

4.  + Uncle has just mown 
      - Uncle hasn't just mown
     ? Has Uncle just mown?

5.  + Alura has just seen the ghost
      - Alura hasn't just seen the ghost
     ? Has Alura just seen the ghost?


PAST PERFECT

1.  + We had done our homework
      - We had not done our homework
     ? Had we done our homework?


2.  + She had slung the bottle
      - She had not slung the bottle
     ? Had she slung the bottle?


3.  + Adimas had been in Bandung
      - Adimas had not been in Bandung
     ? Had Adimas been in Bandung?


4.  + Nanny had fed Dola

5.  + Syira had slept in her bedroom
      - Syira had not slept in her bedroom

NOUN CLAUSE

Noun Clause : Sub-clause yang difungsikan sebagai noun (berkedudukan di subject / object)

Noun Clause (NC) sendiri berasal dari statement, question, request, dan exclamation.

  1. Statement ( that )
          Cara membuat NC dari statement:
  • Buatlah statement
  • Letakkan conj. that di awal statement -> NC
  • Letakkan NC sesuai dengan fungsinya
           a.  As Subject
That Aditya went home forever makes us sad

           b.  As Subject after it
It is true that Aditya went home forever

           c.  As Subjective Complement
The fact is that Aditya went home forever

           d.  As Object of Verb
I don't realize that Aditya went home forever

           e.  As Object of Preposition
I am afraid of that Aditya went home forever

           f.  As Appositive
I hadn't believed the fact that Aditya went home forever

note: NC dari statement yang berfungsi di subject (a, b, dan c) tidak bisa di omitting
         

     2.  Question
          Cara membuat NC dari Question
  • Rubahlah bentuk question ke dalam bentuk statement
  • Letakkan conj. yang sesuai diawal statement (NC)
  • Buatlah sentence dengan diakhiri full stop (.)
        a. Yes/No Quest
             IF     ......... (or NOT)
         Whether

          Quest : Does Sihab go home now?
          Statement : Sihab goes home now
          NC :   IF  Sihab goes home now (or not)
                 wheter
    
       b. Information Question
           Conj: who, whom, what, why, when, where, which, whose, how

           Quest : What does sihab live?
           Statement : Sihab lives in TA
           NC : Where Sihab lives

      3.  Request
           Disebut juga subjuctive yaitu bentuk kata kerja yang mengindikasikan adanya harapan, khayalan, penyesalan, nasihat, tuntutan, dan hal penting.

Ciri-ciri :  * Terdapat certain verb, adjective, dan noun
               * Conj. : That
               * Verbnya berupa Vinf.
